I remember Colby talking about having issues paying for storage of videos etc. Now the entire unicycle.tv library is on here, clearly sorted something out! 😍

Is there scope to add new content to the vault?

Sam Thomas Olaf was amazing and gave me access to his old server so I could download the entire library and re-uploaded it to my Mux (the video provider I use here) so I have a full cloud backup ❤️

the idea of vault was more just to be a unicycle.tv only section - not currently planning on adding more videos to it - but open to suggestions!

Fair enough re the vault, would only strain your servers more to add newer stuff and most things are on YouTube anyway. Just awesome having all that in one place here 👌

have some changes deploying rn so look out for things you all flagged! One thing I noticed is the social links you all had from skrrrt didn't backfill properly so I fixed that - but that wouldn't necessarily fix the issues you had with the forms not properly taking that input. That being said, I couldn't reproduce that issue myself. Could I get some more details on what you guys were doing and seeing exactly?

another thing you can do now is simple markdown. eg bold italic underline strikethrough just highlight the text you want formatted and a little menu will appear

Best post is the KH forged, IMO. Turn that thing around so the back is the front and the seat sits at the perfect angle for ripping fatty style crankflip trigs

I actually haven't had too much of a problem breaking them, Luke Collalto. The one I'm riding now I've had on there for over a year I think. Nick Braun, jeez I hadn't checked but it looks like you're right. I see them on Municycle.ca I guess, but idk what shipping looks like atm. I'm not a fan of the mad4one because it doesn't angle downward like the KH post. It's a real shame if those are no longer available...

I think* The Mad does angle down a little bit. Instead of front or back written on the side it says up and down, it's probably not as steep as the kh but still angles a bit

I noticed in the tricktionary that there are duplicates of anything antiside because half are “anti side” and the other half are “antiside”. Which one should we go with? I think backsides are generally spelled as one word, so does it make sense to do all of them one word? (E.g, side, backside, antiside, suicide/superside, scissorside, megaside, etc)

Hey Colby, this is really minor, but I noticed that on the games, the hearts symbol comes before the messages symbol, whereas on the posts, it's the other way around. I think it makes more sense for the hearts to come first, but that's also just what I was used to on skrrrt.io, so the difference throws me off a bit when I go to posts. It's not really a big deal but do you think it would be possible to make them the same order across the site?

How does Rack it up work to submit sets? i sent in a submission to match Ivar's set and am wondering if i'm too late to submit a set or if i'm just not seeing the upload set UI

it would be cool if tricks could be tagged in posts and uploads so that you could search a trick and see a bunch of videos of people doing it it different contexts

you can do that in the tricks page! if you click on a trick -> edit you can upload videos of that trick. the goal being many riders doing the trick from different POVs filmed as high quality as possible

Lots of content has already been uploaded in the form of videos

it would be neat to be able to tag videos people have posted with trick names, and have the trick pages link to the posts with those tags

I had the same thought! The reason I opted not to go that route is sometimes a set includes multiple tricks. I guess in that case it wouldn't need to be tagged, but it would also be a ton of work to retroactively tag all sets 😅

i also like daffodils idea! It wouldnt have to be mandatory tags right? But an opportunity to link together the glossary with posts (and possibly games?)
