Thank you so much, yeah, I went to Unicon 19, and I watched all the matchs in Flatland, and you were the host.

Fantastic Episode Emile. Really great to hear more about what is happening in China and hopefully more in other countries that don't have as much of a presence currently at Unicon and beyond. I was lucky enough to do a few rides with King Kong and the rest of the group back in 2018. I was really lucky to find him as I posted on unicycle chat, A flat session in Shenzhen and he saw it. I had been in Shenzhen for at least 6 months prior to that and as I couldn't read Chinese or speak it, there was no real way for me to find riders. Had a great time riding with the group. When leaving one of the rides the metro train guards wouldnt let me through the metro station because my une was exposed (not in a case) and so one of the group members helped me get a Didi (chinese Uber) and directed it to the main station I needed to go from Gunagzhou back to Shenzhen and I just made my train home. Even though they have more barriers to integrate with the rest of the community as mentioned in the podcast, they still have the real Unicycling spirit. I felt like I was on any other street ride that ive been on in Europe and Australia. Except for when we were at lunch and chicken feet was one of the dishes, that was unique! King Kong is really motivated and it's great to see the impact these guys from Tricycle. This is only the beginning!
