I filled it with hot glue, it's basiclly ok and easy to clean.

@nathan, the black shoe goo would probably work just as well, and maybe even look better if your handle is black. Michael, i originally got the idea from you way back at naucc 2019 but only got around to it now haha. Also i bet hot glue would work the same, maybe not as durable as the shoe goo but would give you the same result
