Why is there so much hate for a rolls among some riders? Let me clarify why I like them. It's completelly different type of tricks when comparing with spins/flips and to me, it seems as an easy entrance to a combos, because doing spin/flips combos are hard. Rolls actually glue very nicelly with other tricks as well, my personal goal is 3spin-rw-3spin-rw-... And I like that even simple "transition" is like a different aproach to a basic trick (for example, gluing 1spin to roll is different than simple 1spin or roll to 1spin and all can be treated as a separate tricks). To me personally, practising a roll trick seems to be easier (and safer) than spin/flip trick. Maybe it's just in my head that smashing my shins over and over again seems to be more frustrating, than trying one simple roll over and over again (for eternity because I am unable to find a balance there). I usually last longer trying roll than spin/flip (I guess rolls require less energy than a jumping probably). So let me rephrase my question a bit (TL;DR): Why do you hate or think other people hate rolls?
