(No Vid) Reflection on Today's Session ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I didn't feel it at the time, but my session last week definitely worsened my rolled ankle. It's finally started feeling a bit better, so I went out for 45 mins today.
Observations:
- I spent all my time & energy chasing one trick that I never landed. I had no energy for anything else. I didn't land a single thing!
- The slight nag of pain in my ankle triggered huge fear to commit to tricks.
- My expectations of 'success' dampened my headspace. I just couldn't let myself enjoy this time I made for myself.
For anyone with limited time to ride, what's your approach to practice/sessions? I've asked this before... but I need to reconsider how I spend my time, and how I keep my mind right.
