That's awesome. Love this history lesson. Little correction and funny mention: Kelly and Shaun were battling who would land the 180 Unisipn + Crankflip first and name the trick after that person. That's why we call it Hickflip today, Kelly won ;)

I'm late here, but Gossi I think your story is just sliiightly off. When I was doing my digging I found a few discussions about it and it turns out Shaun landed the trick first and named it after Kelly, because the two of them were friends. So Shaun was the first to do hick, trey, fifth, AND sej, which is a pretty unbelievable contribution to the sport, imo. Also, I appreciate the share on that one Sam, really fun piece of une trivia lol. I don't remember ever having seen that.

Ah, I might be wrong. Or we both are correct ?! I might remember another story, where Shaun landed it first in flat, but Kelly the first to do it down a two or three set ? Whichever way, that's that's why I lik this story so much.
