I’ve seen Lorenz and Dan Colvin do the fifth “second” middle flip where it’s happening after the 360, and I’ve seen Scotty do fifth “first” middle flip. And Stephy has done fifth side “second” middle flip. Anyone know who else has done these, or maybe different variations?

Thats actually a really good question but i do like your idea. I dont know how it would be best described in which phase the middle flip is done so i think using first and second is the best option

my hot take is that we make things more complicated with clever names like trey middle I'd rather we just call it 180 over hick, for example

but something like trey-under-out can't be 360-under-out, it would have to be x up 360-under-out so you know its different spinning directions

I like Colby's take on this. Although I am a sucker for custom-named tricks, I think having tricks described in more technical terms is a lot more clear. Great question Trey, I've always wondered this myself.

Although with the trey under out, if you wanted to be more technical you could call it 360 blind under outflip

Which is a mouthful, so that's where concise naming can come in handy. Otherwise if you say 360 under outflip, I'm wondering if that's "x-up" or "middle" flipped.
