Unicyclists Unite Yourself!
The world is in a strange place. It feels like it is slowly tearing itself apart. The climate crisis accelerating, more and more species going extinct. People not trusting in each other anymore. Looking for something that splits themselves apart, rather to see what unites them. Conflicts accelerating, inequalities growing. It scares me, I am upset, I am anxious.
So many men deciding over women. White people deciding over Black people. Rich people deciding over poor people. Starting wars just because they can. So much suffering created. All the animals, all the people who suffer being left alone. Because some others with more power argue over who started everything. Not realising what the victims have to say.
People always say that sport has the power to unite people. Maybe we can find a way to unite ourselves through the power of unicycling. Unite behind the voices that don't have the money or the power to make them heard. Maybe unite ourselves even though people want to tell us that the other side has got the evil inside them. To see the good in each other.
