I'm curious what opinions people have on notifications. Would you like to be notified via email if your post is commented on? Also maybe I could implement some sort of "since you last logged in" type of email that sends out weekly. Just curious what people would find helpful / trying to avoid annoying anybody. Whatever I do you'll be able to opt-out of of course, but curious to hear your thoughts!

Personally I would opt out of an email update, if there was something on site upon login though... I'd be a fan of that

colby i have mixed emotions on an email update. i like the idea of both the notification update and the weekly update email, but one of my favorite things is the suspense of opening the app every morning and clicking through to see what is new. i feel like if there was a notification system, it could take some of that magic out of it. but for someone who doesn't check the app daily and could forget, they might like the reminder. i feel like the notification bubbles were nice because you could quickly glance and see if there were any new activity since you last opened the app

okay this is great feedback! I'm not a huge fan myself but wasn't sure if my feelings were shared. I'll definitely aim for having the in app notifications!

I would prefer notifications inside skrrrt (similar to fb notifications for example). Also I would like to be able to sort posts in different way - right now it's sorted by last activity I would actually prefer to be able to sort it by "post date" instead of "last activity" There was once a feature that when you get to someones profile you could see all of his posts, would like to have that back (or at least some search functionality? Next to the tags add "user" where you can show only post made by specific people?)

Hey it happened to me a couple of times that while navigating the app some scrolling or menu shifting or something goes bananas and it flimmers black and white quite painfully til it finds back or i get the app restarted :P Could be an important thing to get sorted if we got any epilepsy in our comunety?

@Colby I've not seen that happened on PC, but I just ran across a problem that may be related. I tested it, and here's how it can be triggered: open 'posts'; switch to 'chat' and SCROLL-DOWN; back to 'posts'. As the result, it start continuously reconnecting to youtube, mux, amazonaws, instagram… and sometimes the page content blinks a few times.

Hey Colby, small issue I’ve noticed: when I log in and comment on something, my first message never sends and I lose whatever I just wrote. It happened on the chat, on posts and on games. Not sure if I’m the only one that has experienced that…?

It might be related to your connection to the site. After you "lose it", is it still lots if you refresh the page?

Of course I can't recreate the issue now. But yes, my messages were actually gone, even after refreshing. Though I think the first time I had it happened a few months ago in the chat, I ended up posting twice a few minutes apart (and deleting one message once I realized).
